The Member of Parliament of Dome Kwabenya, Sarah Adwoa Safo did not appear before the Privileges Committee to explain her extended absence from Parliament.
A Zoom link was given to her to join proceedings but the MP failed to appear despite several try made by the Committee to get her to do so.
The Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin had questions the Privileges Committee of Parliament to engage MPs Adwoa Safo, Kennedy Agyapong and Henry Quartey over complaints of absenteeism brought against them.
The trio are expected to explain their absence, failing which actions may be taken to remove them from Parliament.
