Ken Ofori-Atta should leave or face blame movement - Kwabena Donkor

A previous Power Minister, Kwabena Donkor, is asking the Finance Minister to promptly leave.

As per him, Ken Ofori-Atta's treatment of Ghana's economy is appalling and doesn't have the right to stay in office as the Minister following the country's monetary emergency.

The Pru West MP surrendered back in 2015 because of his organization's inability to end load shedding under his supervision as Minister.

"I surrendered [as Power Minister in 2015] based on inside contrasts. We arrived at a moment that I reported the finish of burden shedding. Certain individuals differ and I said 'fine, then, at that point, let me go'. Luckily, after I left we didn't encounter that heap shedding once more and that is my fulfillment," he said on Thursday.

On the rear of this, he maintains that Mr Ofori-Atta should imitate this signal.

"The Minister ought to leave as a respectable issue," he said.

As of now, there is tension building on Ken Ofori-Atta to leave following Ghana's choice to look for an IMF bailout.

Kwabena Donkor recommended that the President will most likely be unable to sack Ken Ofori-Atta for political reasons.

However, addressing JoyNews' Kwaku Asante in a meeting, he asked the Minister to do the decent thing.

This, he accepts, will give President Akufo-Addo the "the valuable chance to delegate somebody."

"Assuming you have someone who half a month prior said we won't ever go there presently driving the exchanges, that is an unsound position," he added.

That's what the previous Minister trusts "in legislative issues, the President's options might be limited… and in this way others should do the alluring."

Kwabena Donkor further undermined that Parliament would be compelled to pass a movement of reproach against Ken Ofori-Atta to eliminate him in the event that he doesn't pay notice.

He let JoyNews know that "the constitution accommodates a reprimand movement" which will be investigated.

The Pru West MP demanded that Parliament will be late on its liability assuming it supports such a push in a bi-hardliner way.
